Budget = expected scenario: chicks + feed (birds × feed kg per bird × feed cost/kg) + medication + labour + other.
Budgeted revenue = expected birds sold × expected sale weight × expected price per kg.
Actual cost = attributable cost (feed consumed at weighted-average cost + other direct batch costs).
Variance = actual − budget. A positive cost variance means overspend.
Currency: Nigerian naira (NGN ₦). Weights in kg, water in litres (L), temperature in °C.
Projected figures come from the batch budget's expected scenario and are never added to realized totals.
Missing inputs are reported as data gaps — they are never replaced with zero.
